We are honored to have you as an Expert at Akshar-Amrit! We value the knowledge and skills that you bring. Akshar-Amrit is an online platform for a team of inter-disciplinary experts to collaborate with experts from other disciplines to develop new curriculum. To ensure that you have all the right tools and resources, we have made available a set of online collaboration tools for easier networking and collaboration.

Akshar-Amrit's objective is to ensure that Experts are able to


  • Collaborate - with other Experts, Teachers, Game Developers and Students
  • Synthesize  - New and original content based on multi-disciplinary interaction
  • Develop Curriculum - Develop Structured Curriculum and learning Games

You will have access to these Collaboration tools -

  • Online Community - This is an online community comprising exclusively of Experts such as you, coming from diverse fields. You can view profiles and learn more about the rest of the Expert community, connect easily and have one to one conversations - to help develop ideas for new concepts.
  • MindMaps -  Collaborative Brainstorming, express core ideas and concepts and work in teams to develop initial outlines of a content and teaching modules. MindMaps are  from MindMeister
  • Online Conferencing (coming soon): You will have ability to setup and meet other experts using online meetings that includes video, text chat, shared virtual whiteboard to draw concepts in real time.

 

Synthesize

  • Develop new curriculum and design educational games by leveraging expertise of teams of experts
  • Work with Game Developers to storyboard and layout specifications for new educational games
  • Interact with the rest of the Akshar Amrit's user community through online forums


Develop Curriculum

  • Learning Management System - Create lesson plans and teach using the Learning Management System
  • Blogs - Write Blogs within Akshar-Amrit. Blogs can be either individual blogs or team blogs
