Is Akshar-Amrit an online tuition/ coaching service?

No.  Akshar-Amrit is not an online tuition, it is a supplimentary education system, designed to teach students Math and languages from around the world, in a fun and interactive manner. There are lots of courses and games designed by experts that use aspects of world cultures to help understand underlying math and science themes. Courses are taught in online environment to a batch of 5-15 students at a time. Teachers also coach students to play online games, each of the games have an educational theme.


Where are Teachers and Experts located?

Experts are selected for their unique skills, expertise and original thinking that they have contributed to in their respective fields. Experts can be located across the country and world. They not restricted to a specific country or region.

Akshar-Amrit intends to develop interactive activities , both for groups and individual assignments, combined with instructor led online courses to teach languages to children. I am a game developer, how can I join to interact with experts and develop online games ?

Akshar-Amrit provides game designers and developers an opportunity to interact with top talented researches to develop education specific games. These games will be used made available to enrolled students, and the objective of the online games is to foster self discovery of concepts through fun, interactive games. Games can be Adobe Flash based or based on other gaming software, and can be single player and multi-player games. The central theme is that these games are unique and have a central teaching theme.

Akshar-Amrit is focused on preserving the world's rich cultural heritage by transcribing the cultural themes into teachable modules of knowledge, while maintaining the authenticity of the cultural themes utillized.

Does Akshar-Amrit follow a specific school sistricts' syllabus?

No. We design our courses to ensure that it broadly matches the core principles that are taught across school's nationwide based on grade.

What are the languages that will taught at Akshar-Amrit?

Akshar-Amrit is initially focused on teaching Indian languages to the Indian diaspora. The approach to teaching languages will be based on a combination of games, and analytics to discover the hidden lingustic connections that exist within and across language systems. Akshar-Amrit will focus on developing teaching content, and offer courses to learn to teach other international languages in the next phase of rollout.


What is the approach to teaching languages at Akshar-Amrit?

We focus on using software based analytics to discover hidden conections between the native language and the foreign language. Most closely related languages share common words and word roots, and these similarities are leveraged to develop the language training.
